7 Ways To Cheer Yourself Up

If you’re “down in the dumps,” try these things to make you feel better. They could, and should, work!

1. Look at dog pictures

If you’re a cat person, then you probably want to look at cats. But seeing pictures or videos of happy dogs or cats will brighten your day (unless you’re a crazy person). They’re all over Facebook and Instagram! Search cat or dog (or any cute animal you like) and you will never stop looking!


2. Watch your favorite movie

Unless your favorite movie is something sad- then maybe you should think of a happy movie. Disney is always a go-to for that!

3. Eat a food you’ve been craving

Chipotle, ice cream, cake, fries! There is no better time to treat yourself!

4. Hang out with friends

They can help distract you from your sadness, assuming they’re cool people

5. Go for a walk

Getting out and about will help you clear your mind. Plus, you might see some nice people or DOGS on the stroll

6. Exercise

Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy (at least, according to Legally Blonde)

7. Buy yourself something you really want

If you can afford it, of course! Otherwise, just buy it and take some money out of the food budget
